hi and thanks for feedback on my windowsill floral shot,Dave...first off, this is a very handsome image (think this is first time i have used that word to describe a photo!),but it is handsome...LOL...has a very "male" presence to me
...the tone and contrast level work well...the white border line distracts my eye,but i do like the mat and black framing...good work,my friend!
regards,gayle

Dave:

A standout shot in your portfolio. I think the toning and effects add to the photograph, really making this massive monument stand out and be felt. Centering the shot really places the static weight of all that sandstone right into the frame, and the vertical jutting into space gives it a monumental feel.

Every thing works in this image. Love all the space around the boulder. Beautiful natural sculpture. Great capture and choice of color tone. :) Andree

You've done some excellent work here, Dave! Great tones for this shot, and the way that you've framed this makes it a work of art! Well done!

Beautifully presented image. Gentle tones, lovely texture. I like the lightness in the sky, it brings the subject forward. Impressive natural structure. Cathy

Somehow you've managed to make what could be a very boring image into something powerful.
