Dear Luuis The reason why I´ve read a bit of de constructivism is that I´m a master of theology(I think that´s what it´s called in English) and I´ve read much philosophy during my study taking me around to many interesting philosophers. Yes, the guys do indeed look like puppets which is also why I wondered how you took this photo and worked on it. Yes, art has the wonderful nature of inspiring people in a variety of ways. Many scientific researchers hate this trait, but I love it. Art, literature, music may have been made with one thought or feeling from the artist, but it awakes much more when reaching people and come to live differently in every person. It gets a life of its own as it travels through the mind and body of each individual. No final result, nothing that´s right or wrong but inspiration as the major speaker. You teach? Interesting! I´m afraid that I haven´t read Walter Benjamin. I must see what kind of man he is! Take care Annemette

A critique of great artist: ANNEMETTE... And who read about deconstruction is not any woman,,,also if she draw and write (sure a lost renaissance woman...hidden!!!!) This image was awarded in many international photo contests... And I love it so much.- Is a image to think, about the army, the life and the distressed situations.-
If you see the guys looks like puppets and the scene has something bizarre.-
And finally, I have repeated until the fatigue my philosophy and criteria of the image, about the MIRROR.- When I teaches to my pupils of art philosophy and photographic aesthetic....
Each one sees the scene according to their own vision of the life, for that reason there are so many interpretations.- In my case, I tried to put an unreal situation, a "COMIC..." it has a dramatic stage , but also induces to laugh.-
A kiss and my admiration toward your comments and epistemology vision about the art and of the image.- You have surely read Walter Benjamin and if you has not made it, I doubt..do it...KISSES HUGS AND CHEERS.- And thinks like my pupils and my friends.....I wait -as always- your knowledge.- Luis

A very strange motive that makes me wonder how you took it. The marines look not like soldiers but sad distressed young men that have someone caring for them at home. They´re out of rythm and not very happy about the situation. A symbol of all the young men that are killed in wars all over the world at all times- the guy next door who should do something good with his life. Very suggestive photo! Best wishes Annemette

Stunning composition, Luis. I think it represents strength and discipline...dramatic clouds, bird like airplanes in formation, a pattern repeated in the men. Nothing to complain about here...great work. All the best, Kes

Yep, another masterpiece. The visual depth of the image given by the cloud formation and lines of the ground is amazing (noticable even more in the thumbnail), creating an almost 3D effect. I expect them to march in through my screen anytime. You say a quiet atmosphere...hmmm...for me it's quite dramatic, actually. They stand in contrast with their sea companions, seagulls, which are free...and they are not. The birds can also represent their restless spirits. Sorry for writing so much, and giving my experience that was maybe not intended...but your pictures really inspire me for interpretations! warm regards Marija
