I personally like the foreground being out of focus. I think I'd like to see it a little more in focus than it is, so you can get a little more shape out of the rocks. I like the idea a lot though, it's not your typical flower picture. Very nice work.

Wonderful lighting, color, contrast and choice of dof... for the lower part, I see it IMO is making soft/sharp contrast with the beautifully backlit yellow flower. I love it.

My idea with this shot was to bring some smoothness to the rocks in the foreground.

Nice concept, but I'd remove the out of focus bottom half, it's a severe distraction.

I like the perspective. If the subject were more in the foreground, I think it would hold my attention a little better. Good DOF and color.
