Very nice panoramic view of NYC Sam - I bet capturing it at dawn/dusk would provide a whole new atmosphere to the photo. It's a shame about the water too - I think I'd rather see more sky ;)

Sam, you've gotta get Smoky City Design's Panorama factory. It is far superior to the bundled Canon stitching software. Look: http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1132197&Title=Only%20God........&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1095363 http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1128143&Title=Manhattan%20Sunset&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1119559&Title=Verdant%20Desert&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1116967&Title=Valley%20of%20Fire%202&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1111094&Title=59th%20St%20Bridge%20Pano&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1099789&Title=Lake%20Eola%202&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo http://www.usefilm.com/show_Panoramic.asp?id=1084483&Title=A%20Special%20Place%20Indeed&Photographer=Salvatore%20Rossignolo Above the obvious accuracy of the stitch, notice the almost perfect transitions between slight differences in exposure are unnoticeable and the software handles this as part of the stitching process automatically. Finally about this shot, I would've cropped out more of the left, lets say to the ESB, and some of the nasty water foreground and have brought out more of the fantastic architectural detail that that 5D is capable of. In my humble oppinion, of course....Your friend Sal

Hi Laura,
Thanks for the comment. Saddly enough that is the Natural color of the Hudson River.
You couldn't pay me enough to set one little pinkie toe in that water. The smell is even worse then the color. All I did to this shot after stitching it was a minor levels adjustment and a crop. Thanks again and Now I am off to view your portfolio. Kind Regards

Very well composed panoramic of the 'Big Apple'! The colors and details are great. The water has a brown color. Is that the natural look?
