About This was taken at the Dells( Watson Lake )
Prescott, Arizona. I sat up on top of a very big rock Just looking. I Liked the way the breeze swept across the lake. But I think my favorite part of the day was the light and shadow play on the hills in the Bg. Let me know what you think.

Hey, there's that same sailor. ;) The panoramic with this is wonderful. YOu are so right, the play of shadows on the hills is what makes this grand. I most often agree with what Doyle has to say, but this time I must disagree. For me, the green sail helps indicate the distance between the shores and gives a sense of the height of the land. In the panoramic view it helps to show the expanse of this lovely scene.

A stunning image. The colours and the reflections- strong and beautiful.

Best viewed in the panoramic setting. The details in the rock formation are beautiful. Love the shape of all the rocks. Wonderful lighting!

Well done Sam . . . The pano-format was perfect for this shot. I like - very much - the composition here and the tree in the left foreground was a great accent. But, as you so aptly mention in your about section . . . the star of this shot is the rolling shadows of the clouds on the green BG hills. Very nice stuff! That green sail on the sail boat (to my eye) is more of a distraction than a bonus . . . I might have been inclined to clone it out but it certainly doesn't ruin the shot by any means. This is nice work . . . very nice.

Doyle I <~~~~~
