It's amazing how many flowers are out there in this world and how beautiful each and everyone is. I bet your mom wished she was along for this trip - I know how she loves photographing flowers.
Wonderful test of the DOF. It's perfect. The image of the flowers appears to be suspended in mid air.

Hi Susie,
Ya know, I thought I put it in there. It wasn't until after your comment( Which I really appreciate!!!) I realized that it was missing.
I shot this at F2.8.
Shooting indoors at such a high ISO It needed to be the fastest Aperture I had. By The Way I shot this at the National Botanical Gardens in Washington DC.

All that info and no aperture settings? ) What did you use for this one as F-stop Sam? Very nice 3-D effect with the dof. Good one. Susie

Looks like an exotic bird in full flight Sam. The dof is perfect and the colours oh so beautiful. The clarity is first class in this well thought out floral composition. Well done to you my friend. Very best wishes to you all......Ray

I enjoy the statistics you include with your photographs, it gives a bit of insight on how you executed such a well developed photograph.
I enjoy the depth and focusing of the composition, allowing one to view the Minimal depth of field.
Great job!
