About Guangzhou Train Station, looking straight up at the center dome.

This is the second ...of what I said was my only ;) Abstract picture taken in mainland China.

After taking the previous image, I was on my way up the escalator to grab this one. The center started to go away, but I kept on filling up my camera with images.

Now that I'm back home, looking at these again, they begin to grow on me as an abstract series. What do you think?

Thank you Ron.

I just may do that.. I've been looking for content in my images, and I think now, as I look at them all after a few days... the abstract side of me wants to find more in these images...

i'll keep 'em coming!
best,
-j

I think you should keep the abstracts coming. They are amazing. Colour, shape and interestingly divine. Even w/o the workers they would make great posters. Regards Ron.

Thank you Petal!
I thought the same thing when I was looking up... that the center was blue. I didn't see the station from the outside, but I bet it adds to the skyline from the outside.

I saw that one triangle tile that was different from the rest, and framed this shot for it. I bet you're right...either a foot, or a storm took it out, and all they had that day was blue!

thanks again for the great feedback!

cheers,
-Joel

Another fine one!! Fantastic view, love all those lines, great blue... (one thing is strange though... the center is dark(er) blue compaired to the rest... except for one triangle... what's the reason for that... different piece of glass... one of the workers cracked/fell through it (hope not the latter... ;-D), but it looks neat as is)!! Like the landscape format, great silhouettes, excellent composition... well 'kept on', great capture!!!
