8 months into production on Peter Pan, My 7,960th image taken on set with the beaten D30 and Sigma 14mm. This was just as the AD's announced overtime for the day, and there would be one more setup. I was with the DP on the stern of the rocking ship on stage 5, and captured this image of Pj (director facing camera) about to describe the next setup.
thanks for having a look at this! I may re-post it with a slight levels tweak to make it brighter.
I owe the lighting to my good friend Don McAlpine, the DP on the production who educated me more on the use of colored lights than you can imagine! He was the eye for such movies as , 'Moulin Rouge', and as seen here, 'Peter Pan'.
In the shot here, the house lights were on for the setup change, but when they were off, the set turned RED. Your eyes would be tweaked for hours..and you would walk outside to the bright blue Australian sky, and be amazed at what happens when you only see RED for hours on end... the color blue is the most amazing color you've ever seen :)
