Thank you so much Roby!
I'm am so glad you like this! It's one of my favorites as well. There's just something about it. I have it as my desktop wallpaper at work on two monitors. for a doll.... she sure came to life. The most difficult part was geting the lighting to look non-miniature...the falloff was the key. that...and a crazy steady hand for a long exposure.
best wishes my friend!

A long time ago i did a serie of shots of dolls, taken in my studio i had at that time. I used serveral at the moment and made an unusual scene. I can´t tell how, maby i can show one day here on uf (?)...
But i think you MUST head to the shop and buy more... a pitty we don´t have such dolls here to play with, with the camera..

Thank you Jeanette!
My day job is lighting things that don't even exist, so it's nice to find something real (be it non-living) to light.
If you're curious, I can post an image of the actual doll. I'm tempted to head back to the store for more of dolls to start staging scenes. fun!
best, -Joel

Nice lightning on the dolls face and moody blue .... a doll with the most "human" look i have seen for a while.
