The pool below the waterfall is very pleasing to the eye. Now that you have pointed it out, I see a picture within your picture. I rotated it two degrees to the left. Keep up the good work.

John, it looks like it leans to the right to me, too.

I've shot a good number of waterfalls in the last year or two. Waterfalls are kind of funny in that some look good with extremely high shutter speeds, some with slower shutter speeds. My intent here was to take it to the extreme in the long exposure direction, smoothing out the ripples in the pool below the waterfall.

Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate your time and input.

A beautiful waterfall - but perhaps a little too long an exposure. But the thing with waterfall shots (in my experience anyway) is that everyone likes different things - some like the water frozen in action, some love the blur created after several minutes exposure. I think that they can work well at about 1/8 to 1/4 - but that's just personal.

A shorter exposure and a slight counter clockwise rotation would improve this photo. I'm fussy about horizons and this one seems off to me. To my eyes, the whole picture seems to be leaning to the right.

Hi Martin,
cool shot, do you have anymore at slower shutter speeds? i don't know if it was possible or not, but judging from the ND it might have been, the only reason being that imho i think this could be improved by having a little more texture/flavour in the water, so it's not as hot/washed out in some spots. that said, i do love the smoothness and reflection you captured here at the bottom ;) nice stuff!
