I set the camera on a tripod, locked the cable release, and watched a couple of movies before coming back to end this exposure. With the amount of light "in town," this is about as long an exposure as I can get. The houses are washed out on the bottom, but give a frame of reference nonetheless.
Great, a photo that deserves to be in this "Project", i been surfing thru photos in this project, and have only come accross 3 or 4 shots that are obviously taken over 2mins! There are alot of ppl that need to understand what "Time Lapse" Photography is. This shot is brilliant, it has all the hallmarks for a great shot, tho maybe u might try it agian where the ambient lighting is lower, to non existent, say out of the town/city. Kindly, Lachlan Rex
you can kind of see some stars going round in the upper left corner. it would have been better if the exposure wasn't so long, more stars would have turned up.
