About I love Hybiscus when they are all curled up and about ready to open up. This is my favorite shot of the flower I have got many more like it. This is my first B&W conversion on a floral image. Hope you like it.

I like this very much Kelly! Your explanation is great, too, I didn't know it was a hibiscus curled up, great abstract and macro, very beautiful, I love the fuzzy edges and the way it fits into the square crop! Best regards, Ina

Hi Kelly....I've never done a full floral mono, I'm not brave enough for that, but, I am full of admiration for those of you who do. This is a great floral abstract and the tones are especially good. The details are stunning and the idea excellent...Well done to you sweetie.

Thank-you for the congrats on my DOTD but nobody would be prepared to view them again without increasing their life insurance:):):)...On the subject of self portraits, I have always thought of you as a pretty girl but looking at your bio pic could I say that a little less eye make-up would improve the overall effect:):):-O :-D I'm sorry sweetie I have an aweful sense of fun and I am truely wicked at times...you wear as much eye make-up as you like...I'll still love you:):):)
Best wishes to you Kelly my sweet, 'see' you soon...Ray

Nice conversion, Kelly, and a great crop! I like the details you've captured in the petals, too!

This is beautiful Kelly. It almost looks edible...oh and of course it is. It's a hibiscuit! :) A very unique and refreshing perspective. I love the curling void drawing me deeper into the image. Great tones. Good job Kelly. I like it very much.

Cheers - Ann :)

This has made a cool abstract Kelly. I love hibiscus too, they are such a beautiful flower. This is a nice one for the b/w conversion. You could enter this in the b/w flower project or patterns in nature.
