I too would have commenced with an 'ouch' on this shot but as it has been done...I won't.

Nice macro Kelly. The dof is great to bring in the green of the cactus as a backdrop. And yes yes yes enter this in patterns in nature!

*ouch* Kelly. How are your eyes after shooting this? Great macro. I used to have these cacti in my garden when I lived in the Mojave Desert. I had no idea they had so much colour in them but then I never got this close to them before. Thanks for the bug's eye view. Great shot. Love the composition and DOF. Razor sharp or should I say sharp as a spike (sorry it's late - tired - duh).
