Hiya sweet Kelly.......Where have you been? Are you OK sweetie?? A big WELCOME BACK, I've missed you soooooooo much and thought that you had left us.
This is a cracking good shot with great detail and wonderful tones and I see you used one of the great Canon lenses to achieve this well composed wildlife study....too heavy for me to carry these days, boo hoo:):) Well done to you my lovely Kelly.
So you are off to America's far away State to tie the knot; I am soooooo happy for you and extremely jealous of the lucky man. If I were a rich man I would come and throw rice at you both and take lots of pics.. Anyway that is a little way off even though time disappears so quickly. I hope you are going to settle down to posting a bit more again. I am just back from a long break myself as I needed a rest and I am resolved to cut back on the time I spend on UF as I was getting little else done in my life before.

Very nice, good sharpness on him, hard to do with an in-flight bird. So you did a "photo-op search"? You mean like on the Internet? I'll have to try that... but living in the middle of nowhere, I doubt there's much listed. Of course, I don't have far to go to find a lot of great stuff, either.

Very nice capture, this happens to be one of my faviorte subjects. I haven't been able to get a good shot it flight like yours but have plenty of them standing in water.
You did good getting out and looking around. It payed of well,I love the late afternoon sun on the water and you exposed your shot perfect consedering it was back lit. I like it!!!
