I still can't tell what they are but they are very pretty whatever they are.
I will be leaving to go on the road again soon so won't be posting in UF as I don't get internet when I'm on the road. I will post s time and internet connection allows.

The white floweres were a pleasure to shoot. On sunny afternoons my living room turens into the perfect studio, I get some great light.
They were long stemmed with many flowers along the stem. Unfortunately the flowers on the bottom died before the ones at the top of the stems blossomed. I kind of got caught up in the whole seeing the forest for the trees deal and didn't really get a good shot to identify them from, but I have included the broadest on theat I have.

Wonderful floral close-up, Ashley! Superb focus and clarity on the petals, and great DOF. I think they look like gladiolas. Were they long stemmed, with many flowers along the stem? That's what they look to me. They also come in mauve, pink, yellow, orange and red :) Best regards, Ina

I like the selective focus, and the background arrangement where is of excellent enhancement to let the flowers figure out and separate beautifully from the background.

I have no idea on what they are Ashley but they are very beautiful. You have captured some great detail in these delicate white blooms, so well done you. A lovely composition with a perfect dof. It's great when our girls get flowers isn't it? As you say, both win. Best wishes to you....Ray

A lovely exposure on the whites Ashley. I can't identify the flowers from such a close up shot. Perhaps if you take another shot showing a more distant view of the flowers it might be easier to identify them. Do they have a scent? A very nice DOF used here also. Happy Birthday to your wife. :)
