Very good composition, I like this rather a lot. Probably it would have been better if you kept the whole of the "whatever you call the hole in the instrument" forgive my ignorance. I like the lighting on the wood surface of the mandolin, the detail in the little metal cogwheel and the faint cords. Well done!

Ashley, I couldn't agree with you more on this point. I've taken my share of "f-hole" shots, as well as played my share. Music and photography, a beautiful marriage of emotions. A life without either, would be a cold, cruel existence...I think. Thanks for sharing!
