A very peaceful scene. The image has a painted feeling to it and the lens on your camera possibly contributes to this.

Nice shot, Roger! I like the depth you managed to capture here, with the foreground, then the fern (?) and the plants beyond. Nice colors and composition! Thanks for your nice comment...much appreciated! Kathy

Great composition and good use of foreground tree with branches for framing. Rodney

dear Roger, we saw this exact spot inside Shinjuku Koen when we visited to see the chrysanthemum show. It looks very beautiful beyond the artistic shape of the tree! I like it! YT

Oh no, Baki! Don't you just love the curve of that tree-trunk? and the little flashes of green at the bottom? I couldn't bear to cut those out, although I see what you mean...

wonderful place and wonderful capture Roger, love the colors very much! but since the intersting part is the upper part of the picture, you might remove the lower part, i think .. regards Baki

Glad you like it, GG. I missed my MF camera (still being repaired)... I will try a larger panorama as soon as I can. These scans are just over-the-counter scans to CD-ROM provided by a Fuji-chain DPE shop. My own scans are done on an Epson F3200. I notice that the resizing done by Usefilm (800 to 750) introduces some softening of the image! That annoys me...

...and this is cool too. Have you tried to post a 1200x600 panorama? I'll try tomorrow. Hope this work! BTW, how do you scan the images? Bye

Looks like we're back online. This attracts me because of the near silhouette of the foreground tree juxtaposed with the intense color going on in the background. Nicely done!
