About After uploading, this seemed a bit overexposed, so I've reloaded it. It was a very bright spring day...

Really well taken street scene, Roger. Great vivid colours. Your leaving the long path to the right and the trees at the top help give a delightul sense of what this scene was like standing there.

It is a beauty. The bright colors and that strong "V" composition are very effective in setting the stage.

All the best,
--George

Chris, we're about the latitude of North Africa here in this part of Japan, so the sun is pretty strong when there isn't a pink smoggy haze abscuring it! The skies are quite nice after a typhoon has scrubbed them clean... As in England, the weather gives us plenty to talk about!

definitely a bright sunny day but that probably helps bring out the great colors as well...as always, great street image...
