About This is a play area at Tokyo's largest discount mall. The decorations are wildly surreal. Nobody seems to notice, least of all the kids...

I finally worked out who this mysterious new friend "Desert Blu" must be. I think I knew you in a previous incarnation. [g]

That's very kind of you, Baki. Thanks... I'm still desperately busy [sigh], but at least I have a few shots to upload now. We had some nice weather last weekend, as you can see...

Leora, they do have a sense of humor for sure, but many people are astonished to find that its strongest element is slapstick. Very very broad brush stuff, nothing subtle about it. Not quite the image, is it? [grin] There's certainly plenty to keep me amused here. Thanks for the encouragement. I plan to visit your portolio over the weekend. It looked really impressive at first glance, and I want to spend time browsing!

I think my back was up against a wall. Anyway, I don't have the compulsion to fit everything inside the frame unless it's bits of human beings. Don't like cutting those off. No saturation enhancement to these colours, Chris. Just as she scanned... [grin]

I'm with Hugo on this one, Roger.
The presnece of the children definitely makes a difference.
Kind regards, Chris.
P.S. Pity you didn't/couldn't squeeze in the bottom corner of the tea-pot ~ or was this deliberate?!

Hi Roger, Very interesting shot, and I like the diagonal line in the composition. The scattered kids liven up the image, placing the "urban art" into the right perspective. Good one!

Cheers,

Hugo

No doubt the Japanese have a sense of humor.
There are many ways to entertain. Thank you for this insight. Cheers, Leora.
