A few people did note the similarty to the female form here Dennis. One even said something about a bra. :)
Thanks for dropping by.
By the way....the most spectacular of these shots is the one titled Bridge over Frozen Falls. (or something like that - haha)
It's a closer look at the bridge with the ice seen closer. Quite the sight.
Cheers - Ann :)

This is really quite spectacular Ann! I had a feeling it might be :) I'm surprised no one else has mentioned how the frozen falls amost form a female image. Maybe it's just my crazy imagination getting the better of me again :) Andre

Well you know Dennis I did live in Canada for almost a year eh (said in my best Canadian accent). Mayb e some of it rubbed off onto me. :)Thanks for you comment I too prefer the closer up version of the frozen falls. I think that was the general consensus all around.
Thanks for dropping by and for your great comment.
Cheers - Ann

Though I like the colour in the blue pool at the base of the falls I prefer the closer image in your "Bridge Over Frozen Water" shot, it has more impact for me personally. This is still a lovely shot... but next time wears some gloves (one would think you're trying to act like a Canadian or something).

This is marvelous. The vertical presentation really showsc off the height off the falls. I'll bet building that bridge was a challenge. Superb shot. Mary

Thanks for the photo and the explanatory narrative. This is a scenic wonder, beautifully captured. Here, as in the other version, the bridge adds a hint of human frailty to the sheer ruggedness of nature. You are a brave soul indeed, risking your pinkies to give us this view.

Hey, I was just there in October! I saw the picture on your page and was like, "That couldn't be...there's no way that's Multnomah Falls!" But it is. Yeah.
Great picture. Those falls are hard to capture.

Very fantastic image. The frozen waterfall has a majestic and impressive appearance. Certainly in Oregon it does very cold .... Happy new years to you.

What took you so long,Ann? Missed you a lot, welcome back my very sweet friend. Looking at the frozen fall reminded me of the feeling i had when looking at the foggy fall, but i'm not shatter-proof enough to feel the same this time!!!!! Love you, baha

What an incredible looking photo. Can't believe all that ice. What a fast ride that would be on your sled. Whooosh.... That's it. Love the ice formations on the bottom half of the photo by the pool. Very impressive.
Hope you are all warmed up now, I want to see more pictures!!!

Stunning shot, Ann. Multnomah Falls never looked more beautiful. The perspective makes the falls feel as large as it is. And it's nice to see it without people for a change. Nice work! Steve

FANTASTIC! This is a gorgeous shot sweetie. I had never really thought that an entire waterfall could freeze. You are such a brave girl with some of the risks you take to get what you want. I have worn fingerless gloves because you cannot manipulate a camera with gloved fingers but even then it is cold. How your poor fingers must have felt in those temperatures.......oh wow!
Thank-you for the risks you take and the beauty of this breathtaking composition. Well done my clever girl..A great big warming hug and my very best wishes to you.....Ray

I viewed your other posting first, not realizing you had two. I am glad you shared this one also as it gives a complete view of the falls, but if you are taking votes, I like the other one best because you can see the ice formations in more detail. Both of these are beautiful. Del.

Wow.....
your other seasonal shots of these falls were impressive enough, but this one's amazing!!! we don't get frost like this any moew in the UK - so some icicles the other day,but this is just colossal in comparison... in fact out highest waterfall is about 200 feet tall anyway!
all you can say is "breathtaking! and leave it at that!
happy new year... and look after those hands :-)

WOW what a great sight!!! And judging by the bridge (wich is a bit tilted to the right... nitnit... easy for me to say though, I'm not the one with frozen fingers...) this waterfall is a 'biggy'!! Love the blue at the bottom! Great angle and composition... well captured and yes it was worth it but not at all cost so be a bit more careful next time... (before it really costs you 'an arm and a leg'... LOL)!!!

Great work dear friend. Congratulations for this beauty, thanks for share us! I do love it! :) 7+++

WOW Gabriela, that's some vision you have there. I never would have seen it had you not mentioned it but yes now I can see it too. So interesting what some people see in nature. Thank you for sharing your vision.
I do hope you feel better soon.

This frozen falls takes a different dimension in comparison with the same one posted in autumn. It looks like a nude, one arm up to the right, head a little tipped to the left, there where the thread of water still flows and hits the body of the rest, which is frozen.Very impressive! Gabriela

Hi Ann and welcome back! I missed your posts, comments and "abouts" - such as this one about getting frost bite (ouch!) - but it was well worth it! The view of the frozen falls is spectacular, and the blue pool is amazing. I really love that bridge and now it seems that the tourists are gone. Gorgeous shot! Ina

Hi Ann, So glad you are back again! This is such an outstanding, but also very dramatic capture considering the angle and your suffering, of course! All I can say: It was worth the suffering! Excellent! Thanks for your nice comments again and glad you like them! Regards, Mireille

Hi Ann, Beautiful image. Really love the shade of blue in the pool below. I went back and looked at the previous image you referenced, and it also is incredible - almost has a wonderful soft, diffused glow about it.
