About This is a moving footpath at Balleys Casino in Las Vegas. It was shot in colour but I thought it appeared more dramatic in B&W.

LOL!
Yeah, I've studied this conveyor from several angles. This is a nice shot.

When I first saw the thumb nail of this I thought the lens was a fish eye. I think this is a great shot because you captured what was there - unmodified by a special lens.

Great shot Ann!! The composition is great, as well as the B/W tones and lightning. And by the way, your landscapes shots are stunning. Congratulations!!

I'm sorry I can't recall the exact focal length. this was shot ages ago. I just choose my photos at random to post here. Some are old and some are new. As a matter of fact I think this one was of those point and shoot shots that I had to take really fast or I would have been left behind and lost forever. :)

Thank you all for taking the time to view my images and for your comments.

Very strong! The repetetive curves draw you headlong into the shot! My only minor critisism would have been a sharper, less grainy shot.
Nice shot.

I thought this looked familiar... I agree with the B&W, I think the neon colors would have detracted from the perspective. Very cool shot.

Very good shot, dear Ann! Very inviting perspective, like a whirling wind. I almost had a vision of the whole tunnel starting to turn! Also, much more dramatic in B&W than in colour!
My compliments!

Thanks Bob, I too prefer the B&W as do most others.

Susie...this tunnel is at Bally's Casino and cosntantly changes colour through a spectrum of lit fluorescent circular tubes so you can shoot away and get a different colour every minute or so.

There are tons of photo opportunities in Vegas...day AND night. Maybe you could try to capture the lions at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino from underneath them while you are in a glass enclosure right under them. I tried that but with my last camera my auto flash kicked in and reflected off the glass. With a nice camera it would make an interesting persepctive to get a photo from underneath a lion while it's sitting on the glass right on top of you. Have fun. I'm jealous. Cheers and thank you for your comments. Ann :)

Cool perspective. I think it looks good in b/w too. My husband and I are heading to Vegas Thursday. I'm excited to try and catch some interesting photos. This one is great. :)

Great image, Ann! Makes me feel like I'm looking at a futuristic time-warp device. I seem to like the B/W better.

Best regards,
Bob
