Wow, forgotten this one, looking at it with fresh eyes I love it...did I do this? lol

Actually more of what I'd prefer to do...but always get anal...that's why you and a few others are eye openers and make me a wannabe freedom thinker! lol
Hmmm, make sense!?

I'll truly be that when I forget pleasing the masses.;) I have a few I've held onto, maybe let em fly!

Now, after a year of trying to make pictures, I can really appreciate this image. You posted it before I joined UF.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments!

Craig it's a guitar! I should have gotten more in there.

Yes Carol, that thought crossed MY mind at least. ;)

Interesting use of diffusion and muted colors! I like how you've matched the color of her lips and her bodice. This could very well be an album cover for Brooke when she releases her first CD!

Well titled Peta-- a beautiful, soft, dreamy image. I might like to see just a bit more of the object (glass?) the girl is holding, but that's a minor thing-- maybe it even adds just a touch of mystery to the photo? Nice work!

Usually I don't like too soft images, but here you made a great work, this image is really wonderful! Even when I look at it with more attention, it doesn't seem to be blurred, but just to see her in a dream and, if I look better, I see all the details of her beautiful face. Bye Max

for my taste maybe a little too blurry... but the whole composition and lighting are superb, Peta!

I love this effect Peta. Like Patricia, I agree her face looks like a porcelaine doll. You know I LIKE manipulated photos. Well done my friend! Added to my favorites.

Hi Peta, another interesting image. I like the soft treatment but there is something about the composition that does not sit well with me. Maybe the crop is too tight at the top (for my taste). Viewing this image brings to mind the words by Jane Siberry from her song "Calling all Angels."

Regards John

This is a very intersting effect Peta. Her face looks almost like porcelaine. The blur emphasizes the mood and the highlight in the eyes is beautiful. In general, I tend to prefer relatively unmanipulated portraits, but I think this is very effective.
