Hi Karen, even though I cannot imagine it's intended as such, there's a strong, macabre feel about this image.The tone, the low key background, the sccattered petals, the closed eyes, it all adds up. Besides, there's a certain tranquility and peacefulness about it too. Very intriguing shot...

SO Magic work! I get two different feeling by this work. Both i feel it´s so serene and she is dreaming, relaxed and almost not from this world, as an angel she lies there with all flowers and the leaves of them. The leaves around has a strong symbolism.
The other is a person in another "dimension", not longer alive... but without sadness, a deep sleep. (This is just my feeling!!) Strong work Karen, as i learned to know your work!
(I have a work on another site which has some "similarity" to this one...send me an email if you wish and i can give you a link. Not going to post here yet.)
