About Playing around with a bit of hard melted wax. Got in a few shots before I actually broke the rather long piece of dark green wax. Not sure about the amount of space above and would like to hear any opinions about it.

All suggestions/thoughts/comments are always appreciated~

So full of emotion. I'm gonna keep this one and look at it once in while. As far as the upper space ? It belongs there.

Very pretty. What a marvellous composition: almost empty and so much told!

Imageopolis Featured Photo Critique Well about the space above, you know there are things that quite too often we do not see but imagine. and in here if you think that that part over the imagined head is too much then crop it, but i do not find anything missing in this composition apart for just a little more space below! maybe half an inch!
however i like the high contrast and the melted wax used here, but more i like the feeling it brings forth!
regards,
V.

Cool portrait, I like the space as it is and the lighting and tones that set the mood.

I love this series of self-portraits, Karen...each one is beautiful, intimate and very sensual. Just lovely.

Re the space above, it does feel slightly off...you might try raising the figure a bit, reducing the negative area above and creating a little below. I tried it in a square format, and it felt too constricted...but that's just my personal tastes. *smile*

Karen,

beautiful once again! I love the 'mask' effect you are getting with this collection. Very nice exposure (the hand!!). Well done! Kepp 'em coming!

cheers,
-Joel

I like the space above, makes it look as if the face is floating in blackness. I don't like the border, it takes away from the blackness. I do like the concept and the model.
