It is good to see you around again
Perfect dof, bold colors and sharpeness. National Geographic would eat this up.
Now back to the abstracts...

This is diffently your painterly style M&M. Love the moving white, breaking up the muted soft colors. I'm wondering what it might look like if the hot spot was toned down, but that just might be a web thing.

Eric.. it's time angry Army man meets your flowers. I want the PS King to have this guy inside one of your gorgeous, soft delicate flowers, blowing it to bits. Since Erik Hanson left we need some humor on the site. Anyone else up for the challenge?

If you meet this man you will see that his photos reflect the passion in his soul towards photography. It's more than capturing a moment, it's capturing the emotion of the scene. This one is a fine example of that.

Talk about chaotic advertising. This is a intriguing subject, and what a fun use of color. Do you have any more of these closer to the subject?

What rocks is your detailed critique woman! Thanks for taking the time to bust out a whole paragraph.
That chimney thingy was buggin me as well. I tryed dodging it but with no luck. Not even I am tall enough to get another angle, but there was a ton of junk to climb on .... I should go back there today.

Well I'm going to choose to take Steve's comment as a compliment dammit. This might not be to everyone's taste but I'm enjoying the movement and richness. Keep experimenting.

Interesting Mary. The darkness through the light lines is very pleasing.

A peaceful moment that I'm pleased to share.

This is a lovely shot with the perspective from the water. If only there was more detail to the bridge. The wires seem to get lost in a haze/blur. I do love how the eye has something to follow throughout the frame. The balance works well.

Somehow this one of the three works best for me. The simplicity of the balance is easy on my eyes . The colors are striking and the texture makes it pop. I added it to my favs.

John,
I can see what you were trying to achieve with the lighting and dof. The mystry of idenity adds, but I'm still anxious to comprehend the detail of the person. Have you tried this without the subject directly in the middle?
This does make me feel apart of this woman's moment of solitude.

Eerie greatness. The only thing I would change is cleaning up the specks in the sky. Perfect example of what a pinhole image should be about.

The lighting and contrast I think makes it moody. Was the soft focus intentional? I would like to see this sharp as well.

The darkness adds mystry which I like , but I am frustrated because it is so dark in two of the frames that I don't know what I am looking at. Is anyone else having this problem?
