Hi Joe,

Thanks for the comment :) ... its my sister and her newly born.

I agree, I think my shot is very slightly too warm.

I think it's just about right. She a very attractive woman. And I think I'd only slightly alter the red as shown:

Hi Clive,

Thanks for your comment :)

I agree, the image is a little warm but I think you may have overdone the cooling down. Somewhere in between would probably be ideal.

I actually only uses ToneUp S3 (www.ToneUpStudio.com) for image processing (I am the author so I guess thats obvious ;)).

Todd.

Hi Todd, to me the skin tone looks too reddish. I think you may have had your white balance incorrectly set.

You could adjust the skin tone using levels and or curves in Photoshop.

Here is my adjusted take on how I think the image should look (just guess work!).

Wondefull textures, with the lamb the perfect complement.

Hi SAM,

Thanks for the comments The shot was taken on a very overcast day (the cloud/mist was right down just about the house) and the colours were very very washed out, which is why I decided to go with B&W.

Thanks for looking,

Todd

Nice composition in B&W. Wondering what it would look like with a bit of green in the surrounding pasture? Nicely taken!

Excellent use of the DOF Todd! Love the way the stalks disappear in to the blur but leave all the heads pin sharp. Nice vivid colours too!

What an excellent abstract Todd! Its particularly effective having the performer just visible in the centre of the ring of fire a it gives the eye something to focus on. Well done!

Thanks Alastair, the bars are actually one of the elements that keep attacting me to the shot... but I know what you mean, they are a little distracting at the moment.

btw: new version of ToneUp will be with you soon - with NEF conversion

Todd.

Now I really like this one! There is something about the composition that is very striking and appealing. I love the short DOF and the way the word Telephone is going out of focus to the back of the image.Superb!

Well.... can't see too much wrong with this one! Good clarity Todd and the cpmposition looks ok too! Only slightly distracting elements are the white bars all over the place, but then, they're needed to hold the clock up I guess!

Well done!

There is something to say for tradition. We here in America used to have nice telephone boxes, not quite as nice as yours, but still a place where you could have a conversation. Now with cell phones they seem to be disappearing. The public street phones here are mainly used by gangs for drug deals and are just phones on a pole.
Nice series.

What? You mean it rains in Clacton? Nice shot, I like the colors and the leading lines of the road. I almost expect to hear a bell ring and all the doors open and people rush out.
