Trevor,
I'm a sucker for botanical photos.I tracked you down on the web so I could give you this link to some photos I thought you would enjoy: http://www.nanpa.org/showcase_gallery.php
Trygve and I think of you often. We're so proud of your academic success!

Even though it's a bit grainy, and on print film, it's still an instant fave. What a shot!
The glow around the antlers from the sun is so wonderful... it really adds that extra "oomph".
PS might help to remove some of the grain... or Neat Image... I hope you have this on your wall somewhere!

Such sharpness for a handheld shot with a telephoto lens! There is so much detail in the hawk, and I think I can almost make out a catchlight in the eye!
Provia really made this scene alive with colour as well... the blues and greens add a nice splash of colour to the brown trees and hawk.

Wicked shot! I am hoping to get out and take some climbing photos... I need to figure out the best way to get the vantage and not fall off the cliff!
The colour here is eye popping and the lighting, especially on the climber, is awesome!

It's a little too much darkness for me... the middle is just too heavy without any detail in it. Looks like a really nice place to be though, as the sun is setting and reflecting off the still water.

Each layer just keeps getting better, from the very farthest mountain to the large rock and flowers in front of them.
Great capture!

Really nice use of foreground in this image, as even though the colour on the mountain is the vivid beauty in this shot, the flowes in the foreground offer a delicate beauty.

Trevor, I love the color contrast between the yellow tones in the drift boat and the blue, blue sky. Of those that I've seen, your landscape and climbing photos capture so much of what I love about Montana. I can't wait until you share some more!

Beautiful picture. On my screen the red mountain seems a bit blown out (but my screen is not the best).

I love the color. Is it this rich because it is velvia? Hoe did you adjust your lighting to catch both the yucca flowers and the rich background? I just love this.

Outstanding capture Trevor. The light is fantastic and the use of the filter was providencial. However I think you could get better results with and 3 stop grad.

Spent 2 weeks in Yellowstone and never saw a bear (except for the Alaska bears at the Zoo in West Yellowstone). Nice shot, glad to see someone else was able to find them. Great focus especially via the spotting scope. Did the N70 allow you to meter through the scope (my Nikon N80 will not) or did you have to figure it out and/or bracket?

Do you remember where in Yellowstone you were for this photo?

Even when I was younger, I didn't have the courage to do anything like that - or to be where you must be to get the shot. Good color, good DOF - Bob T.
