Thank you Burim, I am not sure why I lost detail probably because I did not do anything to the picture after I resized it, but the original is 3072x2304 its quite large. I have others but I will have to wait till tomorrow to upload another from the same night. I think Caleb(husband) moved as well when I took it but to have the lightning flash that bright I would have moved too I think haha

Summoning of Poseidon, I would call it.

Great shot Candice with great colors and compo. Details could be a bit better but I guess that it was the camera that could not deliver a better shot.

Regardless that it is still a great shot with great moment captured.

Best regards
Burim

We are in Ontario, too and it seems that there have been more summer storms than usual--or at least ones with more intensity. Whether it is sunsets or storm clouds, the sky sure does give us a grand variey or shows. Your ominousc looking clouds and the darkness portray the feeling of an impending storm. Looks like ti is time to get under cover.

Thank you for your comments, this is the first picture I submitted so in my excitement I forgot to edit out the branch and line even though I had wanted to do that.
Here's how I wanted it to look

Hi Candice. The sun and clouds certainly do provide us with some gorgeous light scenes. This is one of them with the rays and the varying colours of the clouds and the fluffines of the clouds. Cropping or cloning out the bit of line and branch makes this a cheerful, pretty picture.
