Nice sillohute. To answer your question about the Sigma 50-500 lens: it is the best lens I have owned. It is a little heavy, but the quality of the lens is great. It is super fast on focusing with the HSM.

This image is the epitomy of " Every picture has 1,000 words". Great job of telling a story with just one image!

Nice job Dan. I have compared my moon shot to yours and have determined that the Canon 1D seems to be far superior to my old Nikon D1. The noise levels in your shot @ 400ISO are far superior to my shot @ 200 ISO. Were you able to use autofocus with your teleconvertor?

Nice capture, good composition, good contrast and sharpness Jon. Could you share some of the technicals? I am contemplating purchasing the Minolta A1 for macro work. How are the noise levels at the highest quality? What quality setting did you use for this image? Is the pixelation on this image due to downsizing?
Thank you for any information you can share.

Great image. Depicts a warm and tranquil feeling. How do you like the Kodak 14N? I am shopping for a new camera and have considered the Kodak.

The composition is great. The empty bench seems to be inviting the viewer to sit down for a rest. I especially like the green foilage along the stream bank, it lends a hint of color to an otherwise stark image.
I love your city and I try to visit Munich often.

Well done. The lighting and backlighting are perfect. The only distraction is that it looks like you have dust on your CCD.

Great action shot, even more so using a slow film(50asa). Do you live up there or just travel alot?

Great presentation.Looks like an older tiger judging by the size of his teeth. I use the same lens(Sigma 50-500 HSM) and I really like it!

Very nice capture. Wish you had given more details about this shot. Is this a preserve? Are the wolves native to the area?

Marie, sometimes the cage can emphasis a photo, but in this case I find the chain link to be a big distraction. Your focus is off a bit. I do like the way you caught the tiger while he/she was yawning as it shows the size of his/her teeth.
Shooting digital can be tricky with White tigers. If you take your camera out of the "Continous focus" mode, zoom in on the Tiger and set your focus, you can then zoom back out and still be perfectly focused on the tiger.
