Hi Roger,
I think it is the vibrant shades of green which are so attactive in this picture - so typical of English landscape - I, also, would takeout the yellow lines. Thank you for your advice on panoramas - i have the Epson 925 so could indeed use roll paper - so far I haven't bothered as I thought it was too fiddly - but I might well give it a go.

Hi Roger! Attracted to this one as I have taken quite a few of this little village - it looks as if we had the same weather - not too bright! I used to take mostly black and white so most of mine taken here are in that mode - now I mostly take digital colour as I enjoy manipulating them on the computer. Glad you liked the Welsh shot - actually I'm not Welsh - we were up there on holiday. I live in the Cotswolds near Cheltenham - home of the National Hunt Festival, so not actually that far from Cardiff. Tokyo sounds much more interesting and I am sure your weather is better than ours. I like your panoramas - I have been experimenting with taking several shots and stitching them together with some small success but I think you need an A3 printer to print out good panoramic shots and I only have an A4. Hello Kenny,
Many thanks for your comments. I see I took this with my old Nikon 885. I still use it sometimes but normally take my Nikon 5700 as I can easily print those out at 10 x 8 inches. I also use a Contax SLR and Nikon F90 - I have just sold my Bronica medium format as I was finding the weight a problem.
I am very impressed with the pictures I am getting from my Nilon 5700 at the long telephoto end - a beautiful lens.

Hi John,
Haven,t caught your work on here for ages - must have been looking at the wrong time! This one breaks all the rules but somehow it appeals to me - there is a great sense of space and depth and the colour is so restful - maybe sometimes it pays to break the rules!

Very attractive landscape Hayri - I would have removed te green cover left hand side - it pulls the eye away from the centre - the colours and clarity are very good.

This blurring effect has worked well giving an added dimension to this shot. Try some more techniques on this one Kev such as sepia. You have placed the trees well and the light and shade on the ground is very effective. May Hill looks very inviting - now - where are my walking boots?

Like your pig, Kevin. It just needs some added sharpness to give it that extra impact. I think your point of focus might have been just a bit out, or he just came a little too close. you have framed it very well. I would also try burning down the corners. Great expression - is he friendly?
