Very tricky optical work Ina, and is most effective. I take your advise and will not look for hidden meaning in it, just enjoy the false perspective. Dear Andrzej, Thanks for your more than kind comment! I think in this kind of PS work in which I'm using a very powerful image (that of the girls) done by an unknown photographer of the past, I should take probably not even half of the credit. What would my picture be without the other's picture? Not nearly as interesting, whereas his (or her) picture stood the test of time, and still can stir emotions. I feel humbled by the comments, and yet I know I don't deserve them unless I could credit the other photographer - who's probably long gone... Best regards, Ina

Ina, with your latest images you are manifesting the art of the photography without even taking a part in the rhetorics trying to determine whether photography is an art at all. I fully support you in it.
In the era of digital capture and the whole suite of software processing tools the reality is getting as plastic as the plasticine and as flexed as it could be in artist hands. The one thing that is still required is one having an creative feel and/or a vein too sculpture very own artistic meaning of the forms and relations. I'm glad you're messaging the style.
Well, regarding the image you're presenting, the train multi-lined composition and a through exposure is great enough to stand on it's own, the insertions (and I'm not the one to decifer what is underminded) just move things fast forward to the arts new area.

This is wonderful Ina. I'm not sure I'd have recognized this as a train, but they, or she, sure looks like she's waiting for one. The color combination is outstanding and the balance of it is perfect. It's just pure excellence!
