hello francisca.. welcome..
i'm so happy that you love it the cats, have a nice portfolio and now you are in my associate list.. suree my new visit; for example this portrait is -for me- very good..maybe it lack in the exposure, in the balance in the colors-light!
is so simple in this case also the work in post-production! 8have a little attachement)
the girl-model and the cut is so perfect very wlel composed an perfect style!
really i like it
bes regards...

Very nice expression
Metoni tried to help ,but i think contsrat and colour saturation should be in the middle between the two variationes
But most important, as ever, is the emotional contentwhich is:
Very well captured !

Fransisca - good use of DoF, good composition with the negative space in front of the model, and the light is good for the mood you are looking for.

The models face is just off sharpness. May have been too slow shutter speed. If not, try sharpening in PS or in-camera (I hink the Rebel has that option).

Keep it up, looks like you have a good eye. Mark
