Hope you're on the lancastrian side Ann :-)
The key to these shots....
Get about 4 venues where you KNOW where the sunsets and that you can drive to in less then 30 minutes. When the sky gets all fluffy and things get interested, get your kit bag and drive there as fast as you (legally) can.
If it's near, then you can't go wrong, though if you just go on a walk may end up with rubbish cause the light's bad.
problem is that the sunsets whilst I'm at work now :-(

I knew that. :) This is a very moody silhouette. Great dramatic sky and the lighting is wonderful. Do you sleep at these grat places to get such super lighting? Well done. Cheers - Ann :)

But you lost at St James Park.I like this one ADE. It has a good feel to it and I suspect you might have just dodges the castle walls.Good one Lancs 1 - Yorks Nil.
