Thanks for your comments. The color in this shot was pretty much on. The lighting made it look a little pale.

As for your "quick play", I don't see it posted. Could you please repost if all possible? I'm always up for learning cool PS stuff!!! :)

Eric I have looked at both, the other one seems a tiny bit too red for me, and loses it's sharpness. I like this because of the detail/clarity, but it is a tiny bit pale. But you have captured the texture really well. Now before I go any further - I do not know my pumpkin seeds - so I am no expert on what colour is right as far as pumpkins go LOL for that matter I am no expert at photography either :) Do you play around in any of the PS programmes - I wondered if making the centre 'circular' it would make it feel like you were looking into the pumpkin, had a quick play - see what you think of the effect. Anyway it is a great photo and composition
