I entirely agree with Ina, this is a wonderful conceptual work. Frame, Pot, Plant, Shadow, Light are arranged very well. ______________________________ ma asir in sayehayeem va gomane haghighat mikonim....sayehaye bihaghat, sayehaye baramade az atasho va noor.
Dear Aram you could exhibit the Plato's metaphor very well.
I think there is so much thought in your work, if anybody decides to look beyond the surface. We are simply too busy, too tired, too hurried, sometimes.
Excellent re-take on the subject, Aram! I think this one's so wonderful! Love the diagonal window lights, the wrought iron curls from the pot stand, and of course, the fact that the subject is a shadow of a subject, partially constrained by a frame, and partially liberated from its visual constraints! What a great statement and challenge to see in here. What the frame does, it forces the viewer to see only what's inside it, sometimes the best or the worst aspect of a subject. Sometimes only what the artist has decided is worth showing. And yet, there's so much more that we don't see outside the frame! This is a fantastic conceptual work, Aram, it goes to the essence of subjectivity in art, and I may dare say in journalism, and the media, too. My compliments for such an insightful work.
