Ahhh Tim,

A man after my own heart. This is wonderful! Excellent comp leads me into this vibrant autumn scene. Your crop and saturation are spot on with the filter you used. This has to go to my favorites. Maybe we should trade prints, eh!

Cheers - Bill

Dynamic as presented!...very bold Autumnal shot with an impressionistic effect...if i had a print of this,i would have a wider black frame around it ;> great work of art,Tim!
best regards,gayle

What a great effect and what a great place to use it, Tim! I really like this! I find the frame a bit much...I think it overpowers the shot a bit. I think I would like it better if it was about 2/3 this size. Of course that's personal...case in point, Ian's comment!
Anyway...nicely done!

Thanks Ian! Framing is simple in PS. Set "canvas size" to allow a wide enough frame around your image, select that space with the "rectangular marquee tool" and "fill" it with your color choice. I'm not familiar with other software I'm afraid, so I hope this helps. Thanks again for looking! -Tim

What can I say, but great effect, wicked colours, and spot on framing. Well done. Can you explain how you framed it please? ;-)
