I agree, Gyorgy. The Wisdom of the Usefilmers!

Hi Tim, ever since I have been pondering about the frame. But I have seen Kathy Hillard has solved the problem with excellence. The silver stroke makes a lot of change. Cheers, György

Excellent detail and lighting. I like the almost metallic sheen on the leaves. The silver-colored one on the right is particularly interesting -- very unusual. I agree that the thin silver border suggested by Kathy improves the framing. I would also have lightened or highlighted the bottom leaves just a touch.

Kathy really nailed it with the thin silver border. It's just that the thick black border is kind of swallowing up the light. Comp-wise, I think it's a done deal. Maybe dodge the bottom part.

Thanks, Jim. I was tempted to even out the exposure in ps but decided not to. I think that the top/bottom contrast works well. I'm glad you like it too.

I like it. I especailly like the lighting, how the top leaves are lit while the lower ones are in shadow. Colors are nice too.

Great idea, Kathy! You are absolutely right about the silver edge. It is subtle yet with dramatic impact. Thanks!

The detail in this is impressive, Tim! The colors are so rich! Very well done!
Just a thought, and it doesn't need it by any means, but I'm wondering if a very thin silver canvas between the picture and the black would set off the image even more.
Regards, Kathy
I just can't help myself, Tim :) I went ahead and tried it. The difference is very subtle. What do you think?

Frame suggestions, Gyorgy? I almost left it unframed...

Beautiful Fall colors! Maybe a different frame? Best: György

Thanks so much, Don. I hadn't thought about MC with this one, but you're absolutely right. He must have been lurking somewhere behind the lens with me... overlapping figures again. Regards. -Tim
