Gary, I had to laugh when you said they'd say "Why would you take a picture of THAT?" because that's what I get from my family AND from one or two good friends in Usefilm. (I just tell myself--and them--that it's "journalistic style." )

Roger, you have a great style in shooting street scenes. You are certainly in a rich country for such activities where the inventory does spill out into the sidewalk. Here in Long Beach, there are so many city ordinances against such that it is difficult. Add to that the storekeepers suspicion of photographers. They just can't understand "why would you take a picture of that?" Love your work Roger. Makes me want to hop on a plane.

Hi.Gabriela.It's nice to know I'm missed. I've been too busy to take many photos and too tired to post any, working all the hours God made. I do have another 36-exp cassette almost finished, so will probably be posting again within a few days. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with my comments then, too.

Are you taking a rest, dear Roger? Or you do not know which camera to use anymore???? I'm growing impatient with the lack of new shots on your site. Well????? Gabriela

Your photographic record of certain parts of Tokyo must be scond to none, Roger. Another sharp and colourful shot. Good angle, too. Best regards, Chris

Sounds like the red light district LOL. I can read Nivea. wonderful collection of articles. That fierce competition is the same all over Europe. Nice color work and photography.
