Hi Jan, boy, all your florals are really nice. Super shots with great colours, coposition and sharpness. Nice shots indeed, nice to see, well done. Regards, Art.

Now, this is a bright yellow flower. It jumps right out. I love the variety of shapes and colourw in the middle of it. Great shot.

My word Peter - between you and Don you have tweaked this little shot out of blah and into a whole bunch better. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I can learn so much - now just need to copy the what you did into my notes for future reference and go find where to find these features on PS CS2 - Have a wonderful weekend. Jan

I did some PSP work on this one too. I did not color changes, just did the clarity setting, gamma correction and messed with the curves setting. These all just changed the brightness and contrast in various places. Sometimes this brings out colors that get washed out by the sun...

GOD Bless...

Thanks Don - your tweaking really helped take the glare out. Thanks for the suggestion - will read up on how to do what you suggested. I don't have a spot meter gadget, but I remember reading something about metering in my camera book. Peter suggested reducing my exposure bias - going to have to read up on that too. Keep those great uploads coming. Jan

I think this somewhat overexposed Janice. something like this might be good to spot meter.. I have worked this just a little . Hope you don't mind. Don.

Wonderful Photograph, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented. And what else would you expect from Arizona????

Try reducing your exposure bias a little with this type of shot and you can get better petal definition...

Thanks for sharing,
GOD Bless...
