Peter - those camera setting suggestions sure seemed to have helped - and were certainly much appreciated. Thanks again. PS - Uncles are no problems - these two flowers were cut down in the prime of their life, when hubby "trimmed" back our hibiscus tree. Oh well - they are preserved for posterity now. Jan
