Congratulations, and very moving image, Shane! It reminds me of WorldPhotoDay, an annual event where photographers from all over the world record one moment in their country/city on that day. There is a website dedicate to this event. I live in a city with many homes for the elderly, and this is the kind of picture I had in mind, only I didn't have access inside such a place. That's why this image impressed me so much, and I thank you for sharing it, Ina

This is a fantastic story-telling shot about these individual's lives. Great use of the wide-angle lens to get them all in there. Nice repeated pattern with the curtains hanging and the people sitting around the room.

I must admit I looked at this shot when your first posted it and I thought I had commented. Fantastic story being told here...could prattle on about the non-visitors in the BG, slight out of focus and the sharp foreground on the right...but this is one of those images that should be just looked at as sometiem one can be too tired to try and verbalise our thoughts....in other words.."shut-up and just look at the picture"...like now!
