Hi Burak,
your idea is good. unfortunately, this was one of the shots where you have 1-2 seconds and then the subject is gone. =)
best wishes, Thilo

I like the mood a lot. it would maybe better to allow a wider space on the top instead of the bottom. all the best. Burak

Hi, funy concept, nice composition. The photo has good detail and sharpness, maybe with some grain and scratch addition the photo would seem even older. Regards, Alper.

LOL, great title When I see this picture, I think of how scenes like this used to look like long ago. So many people waving goodbye, nowadays you hardly see anybody ... Nice tones - a great dedication to a good friend, a superb commenter and a great photographer :)

Nice humour title Thilo! What works for me in this shot is the composing. Maybe it's just my way of thinking, It seems that because you have chosen portrait instead of a landscape format, there is more of a sense of the man missing the boat. You can more imagine the boat moving by a window because the bow and stern are missing from the image. If the boat were further back and the whole ship was in the picture, the image would not have had the required mood for the title. Another great job! Andre
