Hi Frencesco, thanks for the comment. Yes, I am pleased with the lense. As you will see in my portfolio, I use two lenses on the D70 - The 28-200 Zoom and the 105 Micro and they both perform very well. Most of my landscapes, portraits, abstracts and even some macros were taken with the 28-200 zoom. It is relatively small and handles very easy. The only critique I do have is twofold 1) The autofocus is a bit noisy and under certain conditions/subjects struggles to focus properly - but this is often a camera firmware problem too. 2) on the long focal lengths - 170 to 200mm there is some noticable pincushion distortion which become a nuisance on straight horisons (e.g. the sea). Other than that is a real pleasure. In theend is about myself who have to learn the limits and strong points of the equipment and apply it optimally in all situation. Kind regards.
