Thats very ture yamil, but since we have or had? that nice vantage point I was trying to get as many shots from above the bird as possible, who knows when we will have the chance again. but It does seem funny shooting down as they fly lower then eye level. I see you got that shot you really wanted it came out great, you are really nailing them!

Hi Larry, yes he did get away without losing any feathers, as thats what usually happens the little falcons pick on there tail feathers. We were overrun with red tails for a few days where yamil and I shoot sometimes, and they all look pretty much exactly the same, I saw 8 in the air in front of me which I have never seen in my life. without fighting that is. but this is a different fellow...

Thanks again Margaret, I think the little falcons chasing him away from there hunting ground had him headed straigt over me but he saw me and decided to go straight, I have to do a better job of hidding myself and my neon yellow shirt couldnt of help matters :)

Actually I do a lot of shooting in spots that are hot, this perticular area I went to 4 days in a row, at one time there were 8 hawks in the air from my shooting point. I think I caught 12 or so nice shots all from the same spot. but it has died down now as they do move on :(..
