Thanx Lori. In my neck of the woods (WI, USA), mosquitoes are a fact of life. When they get real bad, I use deet (which is not good for the rubber on cameras).

Thank you Mehdi. Well, I held the camera awkwardly, although I am somewhat ambidextrous which helped. Also, the light weight of the 20D, fact that the tripod ring was removed, and use of the mr-14ex ringflash (which I barrowed from a friend for a week) all contributed to being able to pull it off. Thanx for commenting.
