This is a really neat study in contrasts, Alison! Great choice to set the little weed against those leaves to give it some color and texture! It might look nice also with some of the top cropped off to where it's a sqauare frame.

Good looking at little things Alison. love the details, wish I could critique the form of the shadows here as I suspect it could fit in the frame better somehow but I'm not so good at such things and often happey just to capture the unique quality of light from things as you have here.
