I like the crop, sometimes the ground is more interesting than the sky or surrounding landscape. Was this a covered bridge?

Woo - thank you Kathy. I love your encouragment and appreciation: you and other fellow photographers motivate me a lot. I am sorry I cannot comment on your work and that of my other mates on here because this laptop I am using is rather crap in terms of graphics accuracy, and I simply can't make a judgement with any reliability.

You are right Mighty, and I agree with your perceptive comments and am grateful for them indeed. The upper bits were distracting (too bright) and I wanted this to be um...intimate. All rules broken, but I kinda like it all the same :)

Hmm... the way it's cropped is a bit strange. It's wide and the subject is floating close to the upper frame. It seems like there are things above the frame you tried to crop out? Just curious.
