unfortunately these animals and the others are in cage, do not have more the fortune of their natural habitat, but the capture that you have executed is strong.. very strong to great example of as it can seem of being in their land!

but a part this my opinion.. the shot is so really wonderful!
excellent choice of square frame..
:)))
my best wishes..

Thanks, Petal!!
I actually DID try focussing on the front bird but the light was low and his head was vibrating 19 to the dozen as he (she? hard to tell from that distance!!) was feeding!! Soooo inconsiderate when people are trying to take pictures in the dark!! )
Best regards, Chris

Hey there neighbour.... now isn't this neat... must've been typing the about at the same time... and both 'in the pink' as well (me a bit more purple and yours towards the salmon side... LOL) what did you say a while ago: great minds.... ahum!!! Enough chitchat... your shot.... neat!!! Great colors, wonderful reflections (love the different colors in the water...), excellent crop and good (certainly considering the circumstances) composition... well done!!! The only but.... I would've liked it if the focus had been more on the first bird... 'cause that's the only one that entirely visible... now the focus lays somewhere in the huddle and I can't make heads or feathered tails of what is who's....

I really like your picture. The flamingoes at the tops catch my atention inmediatly, but after this I went to appresiate the reflections in the water. Then I noticed the excelent tones of green and yellow, and finally I enjoyed the excelent lighting in your work. I really like your picture. EM

while watching at them I thought about you Chris and my eye soon pick up your name at the base of the thumbnail; it is an excellent and very nicely coloured example even in poor light conditions as I may understando by the closeup

Hey chris great fun at that park.

I think is the right distance to get both flamigos and their reflection.

Congrats. Fabio
