About
This is a hill on't pennines hear the spectacularly named "Stand Edge Experience". Its not much of an experience though....
This the last light catching the top of these little glacial deposits on this famous drumlin near Marsden moor.
Here's what a drumlin is....
A low, smoothly rounded, elongate hill. Drumlins are deposits of compacted till that are sculpted beneath the ice of a flowing glacier. The long axis of a drumlin parallels the flow direction of the ice.

Sounds like a good idea to try sometime Ade... Just need to get a cable release first though!!! Or maybe nick Maries Fuji.....(thats got one already).... Could do with a curry thats for sure! Hopefully going to meet up with Sainty tomorrow.... back in the toon for work! Hope I can get some petrol to come home again......
got to take you round this route some time - though with the nights closing in, you'd see bugger all. Though long exposures off the moors onto the M62 may be interesting.... then get a curry after :-)
