About This is a lovely treelined avenue in Temple Newsham park, Leeds.

It was lovely and sunny, warm enough for tee shirts and the place was packed!

So I hid under these trees till they all went away, took a shot making the road look lots longer than it is (with a wide lens) and then make it look quite intimidating with the dodge and burn tools in PS!

Not sure why, but moody rules with this kind of shot

Very creative, Ade. The color shot is OK...but this is a picture! Great mood...not sunny and warm as you describe above. Nicely done! Larry

Great work Ade... I love this dark moody type of shot and think this is exceptional. Great use of the small aperture to make it feel like it goes on an on for ever. Wonderful stuff!!!

dark and brooding, just how I like it Steve !

it came from this shot. I'd got it and there was no centre of interes so grafted a giant daffodil onto it, saved it, thought it cheersy so cropped it and came up with the miserable shot above :-)

lovely!!!

off to do some macros with the little clamp now :-)

I do like this effect and I agree it does give it a good mood !!

Funny, I tried something similar with a tree lined path I walked up last week and the result was pants !!! I think that was down to the conversion from colour to B&W, I didn't try the dodge and burn though !

I do like this :-)

Best wishes,
Steve
